Growing up in Cambridge, United Kingdom, Claire was always a keen sportswoman, mainly playing field hockey, she loved the team sport. Claire finished university with a degree in Criminology and was set to join the police force but a different path ensued. An opportunity to work in Cambodia came up and Claire's life took a big turn. Claire managed a cycling company in Cambodia taking people on fun jungle tours around the famous Angkor Wat. A passion for bike touring followed and Claire cycled solo across Cambodia, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, England, Ireland, Mallorca and now Australia. Her Australia cycle is the biggest challenge so far and will see her undertake different challenges with weather and terrain. After Australia, Claire will be crossing to Asia and cycling home to the UK from Asia!
