Peter grew up in central North Island near Mt Ruapehu with his family. Together with his brothers, Jamie and Jason, he developed a passion for the outdoors as they regularly ventured into the local mountains. Peter lives now in Wellington, working as a lab technician with GNS Science, and continues to spend time hiking, whitewater kayaking and mountain biking with friends and family.
